For one reason or another, every so often a product or a brand hits the shelves that seems to take the world by storm. Only last month technology giants Apple announced figures that made them the most profitable company in history; it’s completely believable, as it seems like every other person owns an iPhone or an iPad nowadays! There are numerous other products and brands which have sold more than any others, so here’s a brief look.
1 Coca-Cola, more than 1.5 billion servings a day
You could have easily guessed that one. From the store next door, to places in the world where there are no roads or healthcare, Coca-Cola is always present and well known and also at the top of best selling consumer products in the world. Healthy or not, people love it so much that if you distribute the sold quantities throughout the globe, you’d have to say about two out of ten people consume Coke daily.
2 Lay’s Chips – more than 630 000 000 bags a year
Frito-Lay, the subsidiary of PepsiCo which handles snacks, is responsible for most of the household names in snacks such as Cheetos, Ruffles, Doritos and more. However, the Lay’s is their best sold snacks, selling more than an aircraft carrier’s weight worth of bags each year.

4 The iPad – 68 000 000+ units
Probably the most famous tablet device in the world, the iPad is the iPhone’s bigger brother and keeps on selling exceedingly well worldwide with every new version.
